Academy Award-winning actress. Made nearly 90 films. By the end of the 1930s she was hailed as the “first lady of the American screen.” In the course of her legendary career she also appeared on stage in on television. Autograph Letter Signed, one page, no date, on her personal letterhead, Weston , CT. A social note to a woman she apparently met on a trip to Denver . Fully handwritten and signed. Letter is in near-mint condition. Professionally double-matted and framed along with a black and white, matte-finish, portrait of Davis from All About Eve; encased in glass and a high-end wooden frame.
