Brief Autograph Note Signed, one-third page, oblong octavo, Lambarene, Gabon. In French to Maria Marguerite, the daughter of Dr. Margrieta van der Kreek, who was Schweitzer’s chief of medical services at his hospital in Lambarene from March 1955 until August 1960. “To Maria Marguerite with my best wishes for her first birthday.
